phones, smartphones and PDAs in particular, are actually small computers, almost all functions of a personal computer to have. Therefore, there are many ways to use them without any calls or send text messages. Of course many of us listen to use their phones to surf the Internet, music, read your e-mail. But there are many other ways to use mobile phones. I already saw many useful applications in my previous article. Here, let me some examples and some general advice.

Emergency Charger. Most chargers have an output voltage in the range of 4 to 5 volts. It is the same as the voltage of three AA or AAA. We can simply make a flashlight with three AA or AAA batteries in a portable charger. It is also possible to connect a cell phone to the computer via a special cable or Bluetooth connection, but most of the phones require a driver to be installed on the PC.

webcam. Almost every phone has a camera now, so we can only use the phone as a webcam. There are applications, laptop and webcam (eg Mobiola) run. Some applications, such as Qik, do not even need a computer to use the phone’s Internet connection to stream video.

Voice Recording. And of course the mobile phone is best suited for voice recording. We can phone or use it only to make quick voice notes. Voice recording is in many phones, but it is often not easily accessible, making it impossible to quickly start recording.
