US to Deploy National High Speed Internet Service
high speed internet availability
President Barack Obama and the US Congress have set aside more than seven billion dollars to build broadband Internet networks to bring high speed computer access to every US home. Policy makers say construction of the network and its use will help create jobs in the global digital economy. The goal is to deliver affordable broadband service to people in rural and underserved communities. VOA’s Chris Simkins reports on how some older Americans might benefit from a faster connection to the World Wide Web.
Please HELP…! My children deserve high speed internet access and the monopolized AT&T bad customer service restriction is not an option for our location: Latitude, Longitude: 36.72879, -88.13432 (Calloway County, Kentucky Lake area). AT&T has ignored numerous DSL connection requests for the past two years. Our HughesNet satellite Internet experience was awful; and very expensive.
