No, does not work for 1st gen iPod touch. First gen iPod touch do not have bluetooth hardware.

i was going to upgrade to 3.0 when i got home from a friends and he was about to upgrade so i got the upgrade for 3 hahah too bad the ipod hasent got a built in mic for the mic app. but its still a good upgrade

Good video did you do anything special to get them paired I have the same headphones but can not get them to pair. I turn on the Bluetooth and it spins for a few seconds and goes back to off. Any ideas? Thanks

all I can do is recommend you Google for answers. bluetooth will probably work fine.
