Personal Budget Software

We said that there is never enough money at the end of each month. Now it seems there is never enough money from the middle of the week. I’m embarrassed to tell you how much my wife and I paid last year in bank charges.

So, how do I put the 2009 New Years Resolution to the family on a budget. In the past I tried using Microsoft Money, Quicken and GNU Cash. They are all very well for keeping track of money spent, but they are all pretty bad budgeting. So I did some research on it and found a software budget Peronal called “You need a budget.” It seems very promising.

The goal of the software is to get you to budget and pay the bills next month, depending on income in the last month. In this way, your income always AMonth advance and paying bills and planning for your future easier.

Last week I bought the software introduced our current account transactions, reconcile our accounts and clicked on the budget. The software produces a report very good for the planned and actual spending. I look forward to use and hopefully soon we will get our finances on track.

I also think that will be held accountable for our spending is to help us to spend less. If we only get a couple of weeks we will get rid of these expensive bank charges. This is my first goal with the extra money that we should be able to take a leading role.
