CritterMap Software announces the first version of the hinterland Navigator Pocket PC GPS navigation software for outdoor and geocaching. With the help of topographic maps and aerial images, the software provides guidance for off-road adventure in the United States. With the help of an optional GPS receiver, it displays your position on a moving map.

Navigator uses wild cards that are available for free download directly from TerraServer USA web service. Users can select a region of interest, download it in topographic maps, aerial photographs, or both. You can also import geographic points USGS database, or define their own custom points of interest.

A popular feature of the software is the ability to import data Geocaching LOC or GPX files. This allows enthusiasts GPS treasure hunt to the location of the caches on a map, or see formatted descriptions and hints to see.

wild Navigator works with popular Pocket PC GPS, including serial, Compact Flash and Bluetooth GPS devices. Connecting a GPS can see your position on a moving map, longer bearing and distance to waypoint see.
