Question : What do you think the best mobile antenna is for talking skip on 11 meters SSB?
I live in a mobile home park and cannot use a big base antenna so I am going to buy a mag mount to put on the roof of my trailer (metal roof). Any suggestions?

a 9 foot whip antenna mounted on the roof.

a mag mount antenna is a compromise antenna, it is OK for the car where you MIGHT be able to hear someone 1/2mile away, but not for “shooting skip”.
