Question : I am trying to set up two Norstar phones at my work but they won’t work with a splitter! Why?
If I plug in one or the other into the splitter, they work. As soon as I plug in the second phone though, neither of them have a dial tone. The arrows for the different lines just blink, and never stop. So they are getting a signal but not dial tone? Is it the splitter or the phones?

You cannot run two digital phones on the same extension number at the same time. You need a technician to install an additional jack. They need to be familiar with Nortel, as they will have to program the new extension that they cross-connect to.
