Question : with the hvx200 can you use a firewire to transfer video from a p2 card to your computer?
i have the new macbook pro and im looking into buying an hvx200. i would use the p2 cards alot and i was wondering of i need to buy an adapter or if i can just use a firewire to transfer the video from the p2 to the mac?

Yes. Assuming your video editor can deal with the video that was captured. Current versions of FinalCut can – I don’t think iMovie can deal with DVCPro HD format recorded to the P2 card.
