Will norton delete a key stroke logger?
Question : Will norton delete a key stroke logger?
My parents are divorcing and my dad has gone off the wall tapping her phone and installing a keystroke logger on her computer. I want to get the keystroke logger off her computer then change all her passwords. She currently has trend micro antivirus on her computer, does this work? It expires soon anyone know of anything that works better. Please no spam, its a tough time for her and she doesnt have time for spam. Thanks!

I have an anti-keylogger at my software development site. You can even choose what your dad receives. For example if you want to trick him, make the keylogger say ‘I am moving to Australia’ sorry thats really unoriginal and stupid.

This sounds like a pretty cruddy situation. Hopefully I can help you get this keystroke logger off of your moms computer.
First things first. Do a full scan with trend micro antivirus. Make sure to do this in safe mode.
You can get to safe mode by pressing F8 when your computer is starting up. Get into safemode and do a full scan, make sure to scan all the files, drives, and everything.
Next you will need to download a good spyware removal program. I suggest using malwarebytes. It is an excellent free spyware removal program, and is trusted by millions of people currently using it.

After you have installed this, run a full system scan in safe mode like you did with the antivirus. Once this is done. Turn off your computer. When you turn it back on, press F8 repeatedly to get into safe mode.
Now you want to repeat the scanning process again with both the anti virus and Malwarebytes.
This should be good enough to remove the pesky key logger.
