The physicist Michio Kaku joined Dr. Deepak Chopra on his welfare weekly XM Radio Sirius Radio “to show the latest technology and scientific theory to be discussed. Both have studied the spiritual implications of parallel universes, quantum computing to atoms, the depletion of computing power in silicon, moving faster than the speed of light, and much more. Deepak and Michio make an awesome combination to listen to. I love hearing one egotistical(but still intelligent guy) Deepak get lectured by probably a more intelligent person which would be Michio. Or they could be on the same level of intelligence and they are just speaking from two different perspectives and contemplating different theories.

My introduction to Kaku was by way of Art Bell and his outlandish radio show. Having heard many a show since then, I have to agree that much of what Dr. Kaku says is pretty much the same. Even his documentaries are very much alike.
it’s inherently stagnant when you have to appeal to the lowest common denominator when making these shows or giving these interviews. I have no doubt his PHD is well deserved but that’s the price you pay when you want mass appeal. He’s the modern day Carl Sagan

Actually a lot of people have surpassed Einstein in their understanding of physics and in this information age it becomes harder and harder to pass yourself off as “the next Einstein” since information is easily accessible now whereas in Einstein’s time it wasn’t. This is why I’m less skeptical about more recent scientists like Michio Kaku.

WOW you said it PERFECTLY.
Michio is fucking incredible, Deepak is a moron in my opinion.
He took this amazing beautiful possible realm of quantum physics and imported his own personal assumptions and beliefs into it and just kind of twisted it all.
Michio had no choice but to give a common premeditated answer to that question.
I would assert Michio understands physics, both quantum and standard, better than Einstein. Einstein just didn’t have the time he needed.

Michio did not even try to answer the questions, he just heard a word in the question and gave a prepared lecture on it. Similar to what a politician would do. He could not think of a polite way of saying cells are not mystically connected or similar to quantum entanglement as deepak was trying to get at. I like both of these guys a lot but they are not speaking the same language here. Seems like a waste of an interview from thsi clip.

Naw man. He is SO arrogant [from afar I've nvr met him]…
Evry program he is on -and I watch many of them- he is so in love with himself and his mind-I wouldn’t be surprised if he has an altar built to himself
He especially loves to quote Einstein, “know the mind of god”–but the god he is referring to is not the one of the Bible
He also always talks about the “theory of everything” as if even it is true that he will then have all knowledge –
