Why has Bush signed a second TaxCut, if we had a growing deficit?
Obviously, the 02 ‘was wreckless TaxCut since we were in the war, but he did it again in 06 I can not understand why the Republicans suddenly are all woried about a budget.

Here’s an interesting article about Obama’s deficit issue that was created by Bush policies, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8492494.stm
I can’t answer why.

Tax cuts create job growth and prosperity. If the Bush tax cuts had been followed with lowered spending it would have resulted in a lower deficit. By raising taxes the jobs will be lost so the company can save money resulting in lower tax revenue.
It is not the budget but spending the money we need to borrow that everyone is worried about.
The war cost 100 billion per year. In the big picture not a large percentage of the deficit. -

The ’02 tax cut was not reckless as it was the means used to jump start the economy after the devastation incurred on 9/11. It allowed the economy to heal itself without a large amount of increased spending.
Republicans (and anyone with concern about our future) are worried is that Obama and the current Democratic majority have managed to spend more in the last year than all previous presidents combined! In just one year! Does that not scare you??
The size of the government has increased dramatically, spending has increased at insane levels, the majority leadership is using thug tactics to pass their agenda and our president is spending all his time apologizing for this nation instead of leading it!

How is it that you can compare a rate of taxation with an amount of money and draw conclusions? Everyone knows that in order to compare something they must be the same type of quantity.
What you should be looking at is tax revenue, which is money, and can be compared to the deficit. If you’ll do this you’ll find your answer: tax revenue increased.
